He was probably born in Bansko now a centre of winter and summer tourism also famous for its annual jazz festival

Photographing monuments seems easy.
They don’t move or change much.
For a photographer the challenge is that it’s easy to just take “Me too” pictures.
On the other hand abstract approaches may be artistically satisfying but may not convey the reality of the monument.
For this picture I waited until I felt the lighting was right.
I chose a low angle to emphasize the grandeur of the subject.
One tip is always to consider other viewpoints than your own eye level.
